GRAZE

Graze is a weekly snack subscription box that comes with 4 individually wrapped healthy-ish snacks.  It has different options to choose from based on your dietary preferences (low cal, vegan) and allergies (gluten, nuts). I chose the vegan option!  The snacks that come in my box don't contain animal ingredients (milk, eggs, cheese, etc.). You can also personalize based on your likes and tell them what to send more often, what to send sometimes and what to never send. This is the box that I received this week.

When you open the box up this is what you see.  There is a card on top telling what is inside. It tells the nutritional value and the expiration date (which is usually a week after you get it). All packaging can be recycled.

Fruity Mango Chutney. This one has a separate little section for dip.  I really like packets like this. One of my favorites is tiny breadsticks and BBQ relish.

Tutti Frutti.  This has pineapple, cherry raisins, blueberry cranberries & raisins.  The fruit packs are my least favorite (just my personal preference).  I usually give these to my mom.  They start to shrivel and go bad after about a week.  I prefer fresh fruit.

Seedsational.  I really like the packs that come with nuts and seeds. Sometimes they are flavored (BBQ, salt & vinegar, etc).  This one has roasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds with soy sauce.

Herby Breadstick Basket. The packets like this are my favorite (and probably the most unhealthy).  But this pack is only 95 calories.  Basil baguettes, garlic croutons & oregano rice crackers.  Sometimes I will eat these as soon as I get my box out of the mailbox. Like before I even get out of my car and go in the house.

These are some from my previous boxes that I haven't eaten yet.  Fruit & Seed Flapjack (which is my LEAST favorite and I always give to my mom), After Dinner Mint (I like parts of ones like this - they have dark chocolate which is vegan and delicious), Tutti Fruitti, Pina Colada, Tropical Daiquiri.  Those last 3 are the fruit ones I don't care for and the reason that they haven't been eaten yet.

Each box has a 100% recycled napkin at the bottom.  I think this is a little silly but I always put it in the kitchen and use it eventually.

I have been getting Graze boxes for about 3 months now and it's always exciting to find them in the mailbox.  They aren't always consistent with arrival.  Sometimes I won't get one for a couple of weeks and sometimes I will get like 4 in a week (the post office may be to blame).  I don't think they ship from the US but can't find on their website where they actually ship from. The subscription is $5 per week (so $1.25 for each little pack) which is totally worth it. I always take them to work with me for a snack. You can choose to receive them weekly or less frequently.

Signing up for Graze is almost impossible unless you know someone else that is already subscribed.  Their referral system is honestly dumb.  Each member can only invite 1 friend and have them sign up (and I already have). So, good luck if you want to sign up!

PETIT VOUR

Hello! This is my first blog post so it may be a little rough.  I am a vegan and am always looking for new cruelty free and vegan products to try.  Monthly subscription boxes are very popular right now and a great way to sample products before deciding to buy. I decided to find out if there were any vegan beauty subscription boxes out there and did an internet search.  I found a brand new company, Petit Vour, launching in May 2013.  I was very excited and signed up immediately!  This is a review of my first box!

Their website says that they use recycled packaging and marketing materials!  The box was sent via USPS First Class with a tracking number. I received it 2 days after it was shipped. The box was a light gray color and very high quality.

Be Bold. Be Kind. is printed on the box when you open the flap.  A reminder that the box is cruelty free and vegan!

This card was on top and gives a summary of what is in the box.  I tried not to look at it so that everything in the box would be a surprise!

The presentation was very nice when I first opened the box.  Everything was wrapped in black tissue paper and it was all tied together with a white string.  The products were packaged in black paper shreds. It made it seem like I was opening a carefully packaged gift.

Anyone that knows me knows that I'm obsessed with nail polish. Specifically pink nail polish. So I was very happy that this Misa Nail Lacquer was the first thing that I pulled out when I opened my box!  The color is Looking for Trouble.

My sister also subscribed to Petit Vour and this is the polish that was in her box.  It is a dark purple Misa polish called Fatal Affair.  She is also a nail polish addict like me so I'm sure she is excited!

This is a Tsi~La perfume sample.  The scent is Fleur Sauvage.  The packaging says that it is free of preservatives, alcohol, and artificial fragrances.  It has a musky scent and reminds me of the smell of hippie shops.

This is shampoo and conditioner by Acure.  They are made with Moroccan Argan Oil and Argan Stem Cell.  The bottle says the formula is for normal to dry/damaged/curly hair.  So, almost every hair type.  They have a natural scent and are a good size for traveling. I will definately be taking these with me on my beach trip this weekend.

There was also a vegan food item in the box! Go Raw Spirulina Energy Bar. The wrapper says that it is gluten, wheat, and nut free. It is crunchy and full of sesame seeds. It has a strong banana taste. This is something that I would buy for myself and eat as a snack at work.

There was a gift certificate in the box for Odacite.  It is good for a personalized 10-day skin treatment. You have to email the company to redeem the products.  There is a gift code on the certificate that expires 7/20/30 The treatment includes a skin consultation by email, personalized skin care routein, and 7 Skin Care Products (cleanser, toner, eye cream, day cream, night cream, exfoliant and masque).

I purchased this monthly subscription on my on and independently chose to review it.  I am very happy with this box and will continue to subscribe to it!

You can sign up to receive this box at http://petitvour.com. Their referral system (VourRewards) is currently being developed. If you sign up, please e-mail them at contact@petitvour.com and tell them that Kelly Wood referred you.  I will update with my referral link when it is available.

There are currently 3 subscription options. $15 monthly, $43 for 3 months ($2 savings), and $82 for 6 months ($8 savings).
